Internationally renowned Jazz ensemble to perform at Ayala High School 

Chino Hills, CA – The Blue Note Swing Orchestra of Citrus College will be coming to Chino Hills to perform with Ayala’s High School Jazz Ensembles this Saturday, April 5th at 7:00pm in the Ayala Multi-purpose room.  

This evening of Jazz will feature “The Blue Note Swing Orchestra” known internationally as one of the premier jazz ensembles in the United States. Founded by Robert Slack, the group has a diverse history in which they have recorded for major motion pictures and commercials, received honors and winning many festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe. The Blue Note Swing Orchestra regularly travels to Japan and is the summer house band at the Hyatt Regency in Maui.  

Ayala’s Jazz ensembles I and II, recently competed at Irvine’s Jazz Festival last month receiving “Excellent” ratings and plan on attending the nation’s largest Jazz Festival in Reno, NV on April 24-27
